Outreach and education

NICE is the National Instrument Center for CERN research. NICE supports Danish researchers in utilizing CERN's accelerator and detector infrastructure. Current activities include ALICE, ALPHA, ATLAS, CAST and ISOLDE.

CERN is an acronym for Centre Européen pour la Recherche Nucleaire. It is the world’s foremost laboratory for fundamental research in high-energy physics and for accelerator development and related advanced technologies.
